HOW MANY TREATMENTS DOES IT TAKE?

It varies from client to client. If you’ve been in pain for twenty years, it’s unlikely The SCENAR we can provide relief in only one treatment. In most cases it takes somewhere between 1-5 treatments, but it can take longer.

IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
|

Rest assured SCENAR treatments are completely pain free. In fact, because SCENAR assists the body to heal from the “inside out” many people report the treatment actually feels good.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS? CAN I GO ABOUT MY NORMAL DAY AFTER TREATMENTS?

There are absolutely no side effects with SCENAR. Clients are free to resume normal activities immediately following completion of the treatment. However this may not include strenuous physical activity especially if this activity may be the cause or aggravating factor of the ailment being treated.

HOW LONG DOES EACH TREATMENT TAKE?

It varies. But on average, each treatment takes between 20 - 30 minutes to complete.

CAN ANYONE USE YOUR TREATMENTS?

We are unable to treat anyone with a pacemaker or similar device in the direct area. We are also unable to treat anyone who suffers from heart fibrillations or any psychiatric disorder.

WILL IT INTERFERE WITH MY MEDICATION?

None of your SCENAR treatments will interfere with your medication. What’s more, once you’re totally free of pain, you will be able to stop taking painkillers. Obviously we suggest that you consult with your Doctor on this, but if you’re taking painkillers, you’re not going to need them if you’re no longer in pain.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

SCENAR was invented by Russia’s top biophysicists as part of their space program. They were originally looking for a way to counteract the effects of space travel on their cosmonauts. What they discovered has dramatic implications for the health of every one of us. SCENAR is able to communicate directly with the cells of the body, literally having a “two way” conversation with your body. In this way, SCENAR is able to send the signal for health to your body, and your body responds in kind. SCENAR is widely accepted in Russia, and is accepted for use in “pain relief’ in the USA and Europe.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
|
|
The SCENAR uses bio-feedback by stimulating the nervous system. It is able to teach the body to heal itself. The machine sends out a series of signals through the skin and measures the response. Each signal is only transmitted when a change in response to the previous signal is recorded in the electrical properties of the skin.
The C-fibres which comprises 85% of all nerves in the body react most readily to the electro-stimulation and are responsible for the production of neuropeptides and other regulatory peptides. The body can get accustomed to a stable pathological state which may have been caused by injury, disease or toxicity. The SCENAR catalyses the process to produce regulatory peptides by stimulation of C-fibres in the body for it to use where necessary. It is these neuropeptides that in turn re-establish the body’s natural physiological state and are responsible for the healing process. As these peptides last up to several hours the healing process will continue even after treatment is over.

IS THIS A BAND AID?

No. When operating, SCENAR works by the principle of bio feedback. The SCENAR also vastly reduces recovery times. In accident and emergency wards its ability to aid recovery is used for victims of cardiac arrest, massive trauma and coma. IS THIS LIKE A TENS MACHINE?
|
|
In conventional TENS, for example, the pain subsides usually only while the unit is activated. With SCENAR, pain relief extends beyond the actual treatment, often weeks beyond. That's because with the use of TENS devices, the body adapts itself to the electrical signal and eventually just ignores it. The net result? The pain returns. This is one of the major distinguishing factors in SCENAR therapy. The SCENAR device sends out a signal and then waits for it to return from the body, kind of like radar. The device then reads the returning signal and adjusts its own subsequent signal. Because of this biofeedback mechanism, each new impulse differs from the previous one, thus overcoming the adaptiveness of the body to a single, continuous electrical signal as in TENS.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

Each individual will respond differently depending on age, health and for how long you have had your illness or injury. Acute problems, however, often resolve after only one or two treatments. Fresh injuries or acute inflammatory processes may require intensive treatment once or twice daily for several weeks, reducing gradually as the condition improves.
