Strained Adductor for 3 1/2 years
Thomas O Brien Age- 17, South Florida
High School Varsity Basketball
This injury has greatly affected me over the course of my high school years. I do not believe that it has ever fully healed. There are times when it feels really good and I hardly feel any pain at all; this is mostly when I'm active, but I can always tell it is there. Because of this annoyance during my athletic career, I'm rarely operating at 100%.
I have used SCENAR approximately 5 times. I use it every few days to once a week The treatments take 20-30 minutes.
Generally, I hold the device in one spot for a few minutes and then move it to another.
Following each treatment with this device, I feel much better and almost all if not all of the soreness is gone. I am then able to practice or play for the week with almost no pain at all. The irritation I do have is not at a level where it impedes my performance. This device has definitely had a positive affect on me and I believe that it is speeding up my recovery process. I feel that if I could use this device more frequently, that I could achieve full recovery in a matter of a few weeks. I hope that many other athletes have the chance to use this device because it will get them back to where they need to be so they can compete at their very best in their respective sport.

TORN INTER-COSTAL MUSCLE
Jon McBride - Brigham Young University Hockey Player
Having a torn inter-costal muscle was extremely painful, especially in games and practices. I dealt with the pain getting gradually worse and worse for about two weeks. After just one 20-minute treatment with the SCENAR, the pain was totally gone one week later and I was back to my full, normal range of motion. The SCENAR is now an invaluable resource for dealing with injuries and it works a whole lot better than the alternative given to me by almost all of the trainers I have ever had: "just ice it.". |
PARTIALLY TORN / FRAYED RIGHT BICEPS TENDON
Greg Grandell South Florida Age- 46
Head Coach High School Varsity Football
I believe that I’ve had the injury for the better part of a year and it’s the result of the stupid way I was lifting weights before we had Coach Smith in the program. I haven’t been able to bench press without pain for quite a while and I routinely get woken up by the pain that is caused when I roll over in bed.
Coach Smith has used the device on me 4 or 5 times for 5-15 minutes depending on how fast it equalized or “dosed”
I’ll tell you this much, when Coach Smith first received the device I told him that I need to be the one to determine if it worked for real. I honestly went in with the expectation that it wouldn’t do much for me. If anybody but Coach Smith were to have introduced me to the device I probably would have told them to you know what. Having played football since my Pop Warner days, through high school, and 4 years in college (making NAIA All American), then going on to coach for the last 20 some years I thought I’d seen it all.
When Coach first used it on me he cranked it up and the signal hurt like hell. Coach was just laughing. I’ll say this, he used it for about 5 minutes holding it right over the point in the front of my shoulder where it hurts the most and when he was done I felt like I had a new shoulder. He used it on me right before a workout and it was the first time in months that I didn’t feel a damn thing through the whole workout. Since then I haven’t woke up in pain once during the night. He’s been using it on me once to a few times a week but just that first treatment made a HUGE difference. Coming from a seasoned athlete and coach, the SCENAR is the real deal.
*(In an effort to do my part to gain the interest of professionals in the fields of sports performance and rehabilitation the following is a series of documented treatments on the same subject that I consider to be extraordinary)
